  • 3 tablespoons nutritional yeast flakes.
  • 2 tablespoon onion powder (opt).

For The Spicy Nashville Hot Chicken Sauce 

  • 2 tablespoons vegan butter (or olive oil).    
  • 5 teaspoon cayenne pepper.
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder.
  • 1/2 tablespoon onion powder.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  • 2 tablespoons hot sauce.

1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.  Then cut the tofu block into 8 small pieces (about 1/2 inch thick) and place in a baking dish. Bake for 15 minutes.  Remove from the oven, flip and bake the rest of the pieces until crispy (see instructions).
