5. Using a sharp knife, slice both halves of watermelon in half vertically. Scoop out the flesh with a melon baller and reserve.
6. Add 1 cup of cold water to the pot and add chamoy syrup and salt to taste. Let simmer on medium heat until sugar dissolves, then turn off the heat.
7. Mix the fruit juice with chamoy syrup and sprinkle in the watermelon halves. Set aside for about 10 minutes until the watermelon absorbs the fruit juices.
